I needed a change on this wall in my living room, so I gathered up some items that I had around the house and some garage sale frames that I had sitting in a closet. I painted the frames black and then hung them in a grouping on the wall. It was a no cost change and it gives me something new to look at for spring. I like it! I might add another plate with a picture in the top left frame and maybe a picture in the center frame. I just haven't decided yet...

The wall above this clock needed something, so I hung some plates that I already had along with the single rooster salad plate that I got with this set at an antique store. I am loving this turquoise color right now!

I have been needing curtains for these windows in my foyer for a while now, so I made some from some burlap I already had (so cheap) and hot glued some cream ball fringe that I purchased from ebay a few years back. I made the ties out of the houdstooth fabric that I made the living room curtains out of. They were quick, easy, and CHEAP! I might change out the ties when I want a new look.

There was no sewing involved in this project...just the handy dandy hot glue gun. I just love that thing!

Oh I love your new curtains!! Great job!!! I've been thinking of buying some burlap to make curtains for my living room. Seeing this post just about seals the deal.
