Our trip to the home of the Cabbage Patch kids

We went to Babyland General Hospital while my son was on his fall break from school. They both loved it! I used to go there when I was a little girl and it brought back memories. Original Cabbage Patch kids are "born" and sold here (for a large price tag). They also have a gift shop with doll clothes, accessories, etc. It was a lot of fun.
This is in front of the patch where the babies are waiting to be born.

This is in front of the nursery where the newborn babies are kept.
The nurse was delivering "Billy Joel" from the cabbage.

This was the school room for the older dolls. The dolls were beautiful and all unique. We did not buy one though. My daughter wanted a Christmas doll for $365. It was not in the budget, but they were really neat.

The kids thought this picture was so funny!

Do these have the cloth faces? I used to go to a Babyland General in TX and they always had the cloth faces - they were $$$ too -and I never received one - but they sure were special to see and look at - aren't they? What fun for you and your kids? Sweet blessings!Renee

Oh, I am looking forward to taking Sarah to Baby Land. I figure it's a lot more reasonable than "The American Girl Dolls." I remember going to Baby Land as a little girl, too. My childhood BFF and our mothers both took us on a day trip from Augusta. Thanks for sharing your photos.
