Even my hubby said that it was the perfect fit on that wall. It only took me 1 1/2 years to find it!
I needed a full length mirror in here and found this one at Goodwill. I painted it white and distressed it a little then hung it behind the door. Now I can check out my shoes and outfit at the same time without having to stand on the bathtub!
Now, here is the dilemma...do you see anything missing? No, not the top knobs on the left vanity silly, we still only have one mirror because my hubby does not like the one I have and doesn't want to buy another one. If the mirror rests on the wall, then you can't see your head. I put a block of wood behind it, but it would be best if the mirror was straight up and down. We can't get it to stay that way though.
I think this is the first time I have showed you my vanities. I found a guy on Craigslist who is a cabinet maker and I sent him a Pottery Barn picture of the style I wanted. He built them from the picture for a great price! We used a granite remnant from their "boneyard" and it's called Black Galaxy. I love the sparkles in it. He gave them to me unfinished and I painted them the same white as the trim and board and batten in the bathroom. It's a custom color I had mixed at Home Depot and it is the perfect soft white.
I chose classic polished chrome faucets. You can see some sparkles here in the granite. I got these baskets from Pottery Barn to go underneath and hold extra lotion, soap, and towels.

Oh my heavens! Another beautiful creation you have made! Loving the mirrors. Glad B was in favor of the oval one above the tub. I say you buy another mirror from HD so they will be matching. But, I am a matchy-matchy kind of girl - probably too much so.
Your bathroom is gorgeous! We had a set of similar mirrors to yours over your sink (love, love, LOVE the vanities, btw!!) and they both eventually started giving us that same problem. It was pretty annoying. I also didn't like how they were facing two different angles, one angle for mine and another angle to suit hubs, it just looked weird to me. Other than that, I really do like the look of that style of mirror.
Anyway, since your husband doesn't like them you could use that as an excuse to buy a couple of white framed mirrors and have that as a continuous theme.
If you're anything like me though, the mirror will stay put until I find something esle I absolutely love or decide never really wanted to change it in the first place. I'm pretty black and white like that. Ha, ha!
